What is it? £ An online competition for the Best Cheer & Dance Athletes £ Performances are judged by our own professional staff of cheer and dance judges and fan votes (25% fan votes and 75% judging panel). £ Fan vote will be based on a rating system from 1 to 10 (10 being the best). £ You do not have to be on a team to participate. May participate as an “Independent” International participants welcome. £ Cost: $50 per video (only 1 individual event per video allowed). How can I
participate? £ No pre qualification – anyone can enter. £ Record your individual routine using the camera on your iphone or other cellular phone. o Beginning of video will be a creative introduction and must include your name, team, age division and event. Introduction cannot exceed 15 seconds. o If you are not representing a team, you must state that you are “Independent” £ Submit video via email to individuals@cheerpower.tv £ Registration Form (2 ways to register): o Online registration available (including credit card information for payment) o Fax registration form to 281-339-2976 o Videos will not be posted until registration and payment is received and processed. When are the dates
of the competition? £ Fall Competition Dates: November 1, 2010 through January 1, 2011 £ Spring Competition Dates: January 15, 2011 through March 15, 2011 £ All videos must be received 1 week prior to ending date of each Competition. What do I win? £ The Individual Event winners in every division with the highest combined judges and fan score at the end of each time frame will win a plaque and be featured on cheerpower.varsity.com

bid to Nation’s Best Individual

A paid bid to compete in their winning event at
the Nation’s Best Individual o National Champion Jacket. o Featured in American Cheerleader Magazine. What are the Rules? £ Must follow Cheer Power and Power Dance Individual Event Guidelines and Restrictions. £ Must follow Cheer Power and Power Dance Individual Event Age Divisions. Age is determined as of August 31, 2010. £ All individuals will compete together by age and event. o Individuals will only be separated by program type if there are at least 5 individuals in each division. (Ex: Allstar, School, Youth League, Independent, etc) £ Cheer Power/Power Dance has the right to combine or separate divisions based on number of entries. £ Payment and registration must be received before your video is posted. |
